  • DENSIFICATION VERS LE HAUT, TRANSITION URBAINE ET NOUVELLES ORIENTATIONS
    Entre construction basse et haute, le projet a l’opportunité de devenir un liant urbain permettant aussi bien de densifier la construction que de compléter le profil de la rue dans laquelle il se situe. Avec une extension en toiture, la création de terrasses est possible. Le mur mitoyen, aveugle, est maintenant habité et de nouvelles orientations sont alors générées.
    La transition entre la hauteur du bâtiment bas et haut se fait progressivement sans perturber la lecture des constructions environnantes. La transformation de la maison unifamiliale en deux logements généreux permet d’embellir le contexte urbain en remplissant harmonieusement le passage abrupt entre une échelle bâti et une autre.

    ÉVIDEMENT DE LA COUR
    En intervenant dans la masse de la cour arrière, la création d’un patio, permet une habitabilité plus saine du volume arrière. Une amenée de lumière, d’air et d’espace extérieur permet la création de deux chambres à coucher et de deux salles de bain.
